Mechanical Workshop Manager at MOVS Bike

MOVS Bike (formerly Elcykelvaruhuset/Movs Club/Urban Benefit), one of Sweden's largest retailers of bicycles and e-bikes, is growing and is now looking for an experienced workshop manager who wants to join us on our exciting journey. Since 2006, we have sold and serviced e-bikes and recently also regular bicycles. We are proud of our long experience and expertise and are now looking for an engaged and driven workshop manager who wants to lead the work in our bicycle workshops in Stockholm (Lindhagen and Bromma).

About the position:

As a workshop manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the workshop and lead a team of mechanics. You will work closely with our customer service team, store team, and purchasing department to ensure efficient service and repair of e-bikes and bicycles. The tasks are both administrative and practical and require you to have a good overview, be able to plan, and maintain order. You will also be an important point of contact for customers and ensure that their needs are met in the best possible way.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and plan the daily work in the workshop
• Ensure that our mechanics have the right conditions and training
• Perform service and repairs on e-bikes and other vehicles
• Coordinate work between different departments to achieve the best customer experience
• Administer inventory, purchasing, and spare parts
• Be responsible for scheduling and work distribution
• Work to maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction
• Responsible for service intake and a positive customer experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience leading and organizing a mechanic team
• Has technical competence in bicycles, preferably with experience in e-bikes and electronics
• Is used to working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple tasks
• Is self-driven, solution-oriented, and enjoys taking initiative
• Is communicative and can express themselves well in both Swedish and English
• Has a strong interest in bicycles and technology
• Has good customer service skills

Qualifications:

• Experience in repairing and servicing bicycles and e-bikes
• Technical competence, preferably in electronics
• Previous experience leading and planning work in a workshop
• Computer skills and good administrative ability
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
