Private Advisor at Orusts Sparbank

Do you want to work at a bank where relationships, engagement, and teamwork are at the center? We are now looking for a private advisor who is passionate about customer meetings and wants to make a difference for private customers.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a private advisor at Orusts Sparbank, you will be responsible for providing qualified financial advice to both new and existing private customers. You will actively work to identify needs and develop tailored solutions in areas such as savings, investments, loans, insurance, and payment services. The role also includes staying updated on current regulations, internal guidelines, and digital tools. You will also participate in the bank's marketing activities and contribute to strengthening their local presence.

You will meet customers both physically at the office and via digital channels such as Teams and phone. You will plan, book, and conduct advisory meetings with the goal of creating long-term and sustainable holistic solutions. The most important thing is that the customer feels welcome, understood, and professionally taken care of.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in banking and finance and appreciates personal meetings. You find it easy to build trusting relationships, both with customers and colleagues, and enjoy working towards clear goals.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You combine good analytical skills with a professional and clear way of communicating, both verbally and in writing. You can work independently while being a team player who contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Working Hours

Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 08:15–16:00. Thursdays: 08:30–18:30 (with some flexibility).

The position is long-term and begins with a fixed-term employment as a contract consultant through us at Academic Work, after which there is an opportunity to transition permanently to the bank.

In connection with an offer, the bank will conduct a background check.

The mortgage market has long been on the rise for both private individuals and corporate customers, and with this, the demand for professional, precise, and engaged mortgage advisory has increased rapidly. Academic Work is now undertaking an initiative based on this:

  • Paid SwedSec license in mortgages, conducted through self-study over approximately 50 hours (spread over about 1.5-2 weeks).

JOB TASKS

Responsibilities

The role involves providing personal financial advice to private customers, managing customer relationships, and proactively working to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Advising on savings and investments
  • Analyzing customers' financial needs
  • Selling financial products
  • Maintaining and developing customer relationships
  • Administrative handling related to customer matters
  • Following up and evaluating the advice given

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • At least have a high school education in economics
  • Have good knowledge of banking and finance
  • Have experience in customer service and/or advisory roles
  • Have good data and system skills as you will be working in various systems
  • Have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing as you will use both languages in the role

It is meritorious if you have:

  • SwedSec license for advisory and mortgages
  • A post-secondary education in economics and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role

The greatest emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability and your demonstrated strong interest in banking, finance, and advisory.
