On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.
As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.
The property area Government Buildings encompasses approximately 225,000 square meters of rental space with many unique buildings, including ten blocks in southern Klara and the Central Post Office on Vasagatan. Most of our premises are rented out to the Government Offices, and the area also houses shops, restaurants, and a museum.
We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute with their technical expertise and enjoys a role where you both lead projects and build good relationships. Welcome to SFV Government Buildings!
Your Role
As a technical manager, you contribute to ensuring that our buildings function well and develop sustainably over time. You work long-term with the condition, construction, and maintenance needs of the buildings and play an important role in creating safe and well-functioning environments for our tenants and users.
You coordinate construction and installation projects and work with tenant adaptations. You lead projects through the entire process, either independently or together with internal or external project management. In your daily work, you collaborate closely with other technical managers and our operations organization. The role also involves:
- planning, budgeting, and following up on projects and measures
- conducting procurements according to LOU
- ensuring that our properties develop in a sustainable and businesslike manner
A part of your assignment is to create trusting relationships with our clients. You serve as a key link between tenants, users, the operations organization, and other functions in management.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- a university degree or KY education with a focus on building technology,
- Project management training,
- experience as a project manager for construction and installation projects or as a technical manager with a role as a client and administrator for construction and installation projects,
- proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written,
- a B driver's license.
Meritorious:
- knowledge of procurement LOU and contract law,
- experience with buildings of cultural historical value,
- experience with property networks, data and tele/security installations,
- digital construction (technology to streamline planning, implementation, and management of construction projects)
- experience working within an authority,
- projects with security requirements.
Personal Qualities
We place great importance on your personal qualities. The work involves many different contacts both internally and externally. It requires that you are confident, relationship-building, and have good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you need to be structured and take responsibility.
How to Apply
To apply for the position, we ask you to attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirement profile. In the first selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We wish for you to respond concretely and concisely, and that there is a clear connection between your answers and your CV.
If you have protected personal information, we ask you to contact the recruiting manager to submit your application.
