We are looking for a Construction Work Environment Coordinator (Bas-P) for the Tvärbanan Kistagrenen Program at a traffic authority.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As Bas-P, you are responsible for ensuring the work environment during the design phase of the program. The role involves participating in the design process and ensuring that work environment risks are identified, prevented, and documented before construction begins. You will work closely with designers, project management, and work environment strategists to ensure a good work environment during both the construction and usage phases. The role also includes handing over risks to Bas-U and coordinating with the operation and maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

Participate in design and planning to prevent work environment risks during concurrent or subsequent work tasks and time estimation.

Contribute to design management to ensure work environment safety during construction and usage phases.

Monitor and follow up that designers have and follow work environment procedures.

Inform project management of any non-compliance with work environment guidelines.

Establish work environment plans and ensure structured handover between Bas-P and Bas-U.

Document work environment risks and measures for future work in accordance with applicable regulations.

Compile designers' risk assessments into risk inventories and work environment plans, including additional risks after handover.

Coordinate work environment aspects with the operation and maintenance organization and relevant contractors.

Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to through the designers' self-checks.

Participate in handover meetings with managers, operations, and maintenance contractors.

Contribute to design and technical meetings, including work environment as a standing agenda item.

Support designers with methods for joint reporting and follow-up.

Participate in planning of site layout plans, traffic plans, work areas, and establishment areas.

Participate in scheduling and continuously compile work environment input for status reports.

Report to project managers and work environment strategists.

Requirements (Note: Mandatory)

At least 4 years of work experience as a BAS-P administrator in larger infrastructure projects (project cost of at least 100 million).

Certified BAS-P training (training must have been completed after the introduction of new regulations on design and construction work environment coordination).

Training in contract law, regarding AB04/ABT06.

Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

Experience as a design manager (at least 1 year) in construction projects where at least 10 technical areas were coordinated (project cost of at least 100 million).

Experience in a role responsible for work environment, e.g., BAS-U, site manager, or equivalent (at least 1 year) in construction projects (project cost of at least 100 million).
