Överkalix Municipality is looking for two cheerful and resourceful park workers for the summer of 2026.

Job Description

The work involves ongoing maintenance and care of the municipality's parks and green areas as well as other public environments. We work to ensure that the municipality is well-kept, beautiful, safe, and accessible - all for a well-functioning and pleasant everyday life for all residents of the municipality.

The assignment suits you who enjoy practical outdoor work. The job can sometimes be physically demanding, so you should be in good physical condition.

Meritorious

• Education focused on landscaping, maintenance, and care of green areas
• Practical experience in park work
• Experience in maintenance and work with park machinery

If you have experience using and maintaining lawn mowers and trimmers, that is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

• Service-oriented and professional in approach
• Can independently structure and plan work
• High service sense and good collaboration skills
• Careful with safety and work environment

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Requirements

• Driver's license B

Duration/Working Hours

Start date by agreement. Fixed-term employment for 1-3 months. Daytime, weekdays.
