Description

As a seasonal park worker, you make a difference! In your work, you contribute to green outdoor environments where people thrive and socialize. This position is suitable for you who enjoy working practically outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Responsibilities

As a park worker, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of parks and green areas with tasks such as; mowing, weeding, caring for and watering summer flowers, perennials, bushes, and trees. We maintain playgrounds, perform minor construction work, pick up litter, empty trash bins, etc.

Supervision of seasonal youth workers may be included in the position.

The park team consists of four employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has an interest and preferably experience in park work. You are a responsible person with good teamwork skills who can work both independently and together with others. You can follow instructions and work efficiently and systematically. You have a good sense of service and communicate well both in your work group and with people you meet in your work. You have good physical fitness and appreciate physical work.

A B driver's license is a requirement, and we prefer that you have experience in similar work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Seasonal employment starting May 18 and ending September 30. Possible extension may occur.

Working hours are normally 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
