If necessary, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality leaders.

Job Description

You will work at Jutos Timber Nord in Tärendö, which will also be the stationing location for the position. The working hours are currently Monday-Thursday 06:00-15:30 and Friday 06:00-12:45, with a working time of 40 hours per week. Your tasks will consist of measuring and sorting saw timber at the keratt, as well as inventorying roundwood as needed and other tasks at the measuring station such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and will have ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work must be performed according to our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Who are you?

We see that you are a person who is meticulous, likes order and structure, and enjoys working with numbers. You are service-oriented, both towards customers and colleagues, have an easy time collaborating, and are a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and able to identify improvement opportunities to enhance your work in everyday life. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical tasks and digital systems and be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A requirement for the position is that you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/meritorious

Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered meritorious, as well as being able to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
