Job Responsibilities

Your task with us is to provide our clients with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you are an important part of our clients' lives. You provide support in everyday life, from personal hygiene and social interaction to activities and escorting. You also have delegated health and medical care tasks based on the client's needs.

• Assist with household chores such as cleaning, meals, and laundry.
• Support clients with weekly shopping via iPad.
• Document.

📅Working hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are secure and have a genuine interest in people. You have the ability to work independently, where you take responsibility for your work and contribute to the development of the business by taking your own initiatives. Cooperation skills and empathy are important qualities, as you will have daily contact with our clients and their relatives. We also appreciate a holistic view and quality awareness in your work, where you perform your tasks in a structured and clear manner.

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Completed education as a nursing assistant.
• Protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate confirming that you were permanently employed with the title nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to cycle or have a B driver's license.

It is an advantage to have:

• Previously worked in care and nursing.
• Experience with social documentation.
• VOC diploma.

• You should provide two managerial references, one of which should be your current or most recent manager, or a previous supervisor. If you have no previous work experience, provide one of your teachers at your school as a reference. Remember to contact your references before you enter their contact details.
• If you have previously been employed by Kungälv Municipality, we will contact your former manager to obtain internal references as part of our recruitment process.
• For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required; this does not apply to those with permanent residence permits. The work permit must be presented at the interview.
