Our Offer

Within adult psychiatry, at the psychiatric clinic Motala Mjölby, we work based on a cohesive care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as in cases where the patient is connected to our mobile care team.

The mobile care team is the psychiatric clinic's acute service but also offers specialized psychiatric home care as an alternative to round-the-clock care.

There are four catchment areas with outpatient services in Motala and Mjölby. There are also elderly psychiatric teams and a dependency team in both locations.

The business idea is to provide the patient with early, individual, and needs-based interventions through an integrated family approach. Thanks to this, our inpatient department has only thirteen beds, which is considered sufficient despite a catchment area of about 90,000 inhabitants.

Job Description

With the patient in focus, we work integratively with outpatient services, acute psychiatry, psychiatric home care, and inpatient care. The work includes urgent assessments and planned home care. The tasks consist of psychiatric assessments, suicide risk assessments, support and activation visits, support conversations, telephone advice, collaboration, outpatient treatment options, documentation, and reporting. As a caregiver in the mobile care team, you are responsible for providing high-quality care, noticing patients' needs, and ensuring safe psychiatric care. It is a flexible job with many variations.

Work Group

In the mobile care team, caregivers and nurses work together, always in pairs, and if necessary, a doctor joins the visits. Together with the outpatient clinics, other professions can be involved.

About You

You are a qualified caregiver/nursing assistant, and we prefer that you have previous experience in psychiatry. The role involves daily communication with patients, their relatives, and among colleagues, so it is important that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

You are flexible and positive and have a desire to help others. You are also good at collaborating with others both within and outside your team. You can work independently with a colleague and make informed decisions.
