Cook for Lindgården's restaurant summer 2026

Lindgården's restaurant is looking for a part-time cook who wants to be part of our close-knit team. We are looking for someone who can work this summer while our cooks are on vacation, but we hope you will remain as a part-time cook into the fall.

We serve traditional home-cooked meals and are open every day of the week from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Each day, we welcome between 150–220 guests, primarily seniors, but everyone is warmly welcome. Every day we offer a dish of the day, except on Thursdays when we serve soup and an alternative. On a smaller scale, we also serve breakfast and dinner.

As a cook with us, you will contribute to ensuring that our guests have a positive experience through good service and well-prepared food. The job involves responsibility for cooking as well as assisting with other tasks in the restaurant's daily operations as needed.

Lindgården is operated as a foundation by several churches in Jönköping. Our operations are based on the values of TEO, which stands for:

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with food and people, especially the elderly
• Likes to provide good service
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to follow instructions and communicate with colleagues and our guests.

A collective agreement is in place.
