Job Responsibilities

We are looking for summer substitutes as care assistants/nursing assistants who can work from June 1 to August 31 on a schedule. You must be able to work from June 31 to August 10, weeks 27-32, 80-100%.

The position is for day staff. Day shifts start at 07:00, evening shifts vary but end at 21:00 every day of the week. All care staff work both days and evenings as well as weekdays and weekends.

Sjöberga Gård is a specialized care home in Hässelby, primarily focused on dementia diagnoses such as frontal lobe dementia, Korsakoff's syndrome, and Lewy Body dementia. At Sjöberga Gård, we have twelve apartments over two floors. On each floor, we have a shared dining room and a day room as well as a kitchen. All meals are prepared in-house. We have an outdoor area at ground level and a balcony on the second floor.

We also have dogs that are sometimes on duty when their owners are working. We are a smoke-free workplace.

As care staff, your most important task is to ensure that each person’s needs for care and nursing are met. Here, you will work with the daily care of our residents, such as personal hygiene, meals, and activities. Above all, you are important in our residents' daily social lives. As care staff, you help make life work for others who need assistance.

As a person, we see that you are responsible and have a good ability to collaborate with others. Requirements for the position include very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good communication skills. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the care profession or have ongoing education in care.

We are looking for someone who has the desire and interest to work with people and who can work in June, July, and August. There is a possibility to start as a substitute earlier.
