The Center for Rare Dental Conditions is seeking a senior dentist in adult specialties, who has a particular interest in the rare! We are looking for an experienced senior dentist with experience in collaboration between different stakeholders, R&D, and not least experience in meeting and treating complex dental conditions. The Center includes specialist dental competence in pedodontics, which is why we are looking for someone representing one of the adult specialties.

You appreciate close collaboration in the clinic but place great importance on cooperation within Public Dental Care and with the healthcare system. This is what you will work with

As a senior dentist, you are offered a full-time position with duties at the Center for Rare Dental Conditions combined with duties at the specialist department from which your specialist competence originates.

As a senior dentist at the Center, you collaborate with many different stakeholders in the field of rare health conditions, which involves participation in R&D projects, teaching, advising, and examining patients with rare health conditions. The Center works on behalf of the National Board of Health and Welfare and is one of three national centers in Sweden.

Your future workplace

The Center for Rare Dental Conditions is a national center for rare health conditions that can lead to abnormal dental and jaw development, reduced orofacial function, and the need for extensive treatment. We are a resource for both children and adults and are an asset for caregivers and patients throughout the country.

The Center for Rare Dental Conditions is located within the Dental Institution at Rosenlund's healthcare center in Jönköping. The building also houses general dentistry, endodontics, periodontology, oral prosthetics, and dental radiology. At the Ryhov hospital area, the Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic is located, where the departments for maxillofacial surgery, orofacial medicine, dental physiology, and dental radiology operate.
