Workplace Description
Section 2 at the Competence Development Unit (KUE) within the Police HR department is responsible for developing, planning, and following up on competence development based on the needs and economy of the operations. The section is also responsible for conducting effective and quality-assured continuing education for police employees and other relevant actors.
Section 2 at KUE has an overarching responsibility for what happens within the authority's competence development by administering, planning, executing, and quality assuring. The competence unit is divided into four sections, where sections 2, 3, and 4 work with implementation and section 1 provides support to the implementation sections.
Competence development can be conducted as training or through other forms of goal-oriented competence development initiatives and should be seen as part of a whole where informal learning that occurs in everyday life is also included. Furthermore, the unit works with international training, police training activities, commissioned training, and library services.
Job Description
The work involves developing/managing existing, planned, and required training towards a digital and flexible learning approach based on an agile framework, as well as developing competence-enhancing initiatives in cases where training is not applicable but can be conducted through, for example, method support or similar.
To keep the subject current and ensure good quality in the training, environmental monitoring and opportunities for personal competence development are included. Additionally, collaboration with internal and external actors is part of the role.
We are now looking for a new employee to strengthen our team focusing on internet gatherers.
The assignment includes national travel. International travel may occur, which requires flexibility in handling English as the working language in both spoken and written form within the relevant subject area.
We primarily seek someone who can work at one of the section's four main hubs in Stockholm, Linköping, Gothenburg, and Malmö. There is also the possibility to work from any location in Sweden.
The position is hybrid and allows for remote work.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
· Experience with Linux and open source
· Experience in investigation/research within IT-related crime/IT forensics/cybersecurity
· Experience in agile work/collaboration in cross-functional teams
· Good knowledge of Swedish and English
· Swedish citizenship
Preferred qualifications include:
· Experience with hardware, network topologies, and database structures
· Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent
· Experience in pedagogical work in a digital environment
· Experience in gathering, processing, analyzing, and disseminating various data sets
· Experience with OSINT/OPSEC
· Experience with blockchain technology/cryptocurrencies
· Experience with automated data gathering, virtualization, anonymized networks
