Assignment Overview

An automotive client is seeking a senior CAE Engineer specialized in 1D simulation of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS).

What You Will Work On

• Perform 1D simulations of EATS systems using GT-Power and Simulink
• Develop and maintain high-fidelity system models
• Implement advanced reaction mechanisms for various EATS components
• Adapt models for different fuel types and operating conditions
• Calibrate simulation models using laboratory test data
• Contribute to strengthening technical deliverables within the development team
• Support continuous improvement of aftertreatment system accuracy and robustness

What You Bring

• Strong experience in 1D simulation within automotive powertrain systems
• Hands-on expertise in GT-Power and Simulink
• Deep understanding of catalyst chemistry and performance
• Solid knowledge of the physical and chemical processes in modern EATS systems
• Experience in model development and reaction mechanism implementation
• Experience calibrating simulation models using lab test data
• PhD in EATS system modeling or closely related field (preferred)
