Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel is looking for a Sous Chef for Mei Rose
Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel is part of a brand new platform for our guests, the Liseberg brand, and for new reasons to visit the city of Gothenburg. We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to shaping our guests' hotel experience!
Step through the doors of a magical hotel that sparks curiosity and a sense of adventure with curiosities, oddities, and wonders in every corner! Take the elevator up to the eighth floor and join a ride through the neon-lit backstreets of Hong Kong and a culinary journey through China's rich food culture.
We are now seeking a dedicated Sous Chef for Mei Rose. The restaurant is located on the hotel's top floor with a fantastic rooftop terrace and a view over Liseberg Park that enhances the guests' dining experience!
About the role:
As a sous chef, you are the kitchen master's closest support and take responsibility for planning and management in their absence. You have experience with a la carte and are involved in purchasing, staff planning, and kitchen development. The role also includes coaching and guidance for both experienced and new employees.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with solid a la carte knowledge, leadership experience, and familiarity with Asian cuisine. If you have specific knowledge of Chinese cooking, it is an advantage. You are a patient and inspiring leader who can develop both food concepts and colleagues. You work in a structured and efficient manner in a fast-paced environment, and with good communication and collaboration skills, you contribute to a positive work environment. You are unpretentious, positive, and have the ability to create a strong team spirit. Your attentiveness and initiative contribute to both goal fulfillment and results.
What do we offer?
This position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement. Working hours are determined by the needs of the business, which means work on weekdays, weekends, and often evenings, with some varying opening hours. The position is covered by HRF's agreement.
