We are looking for an experienced and committed security officer focusing on security protection and information security. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific security standards. You will belong to the Security Section and report directly to the Security Manager.
About the position
As a security officer, you will work with, among other things:
- Conducting comprehensive security protection analyses to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the company's operations. Analyzing critical business assets, information, and processes to assess the level of protection required.
- Developing and implementing security protection plans based on the results of security protection analyses. Defining protective measures and procedures to ensure that sensitive information and assets are protected according to applicable laws and regulations. The plans should be clear, practical, and tailored to the needs of the business.
- Managing and reviewing Security Protection Agreements with external parties and suppliers to ensure compliance with security requirements. Collaborating with legal departments to ensure that the content of agreements is consistent with the company's security policy and legislation.
- Implementing and maintaining the information security system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard. This includes identifying and assessing risks associated with information assets and security controls.
- Drafting and revising information security policies and procedures that support the company's overall security strategy. Ensuring that these policies are known and understood by all staff.
- Conducting training programs and awareness campaigns to increase awareness of information security among employees. Ensuring that all employees are informed of their roles and responsibilities regarding information management.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the information security system. Reporting on security incidents and deviations, as well as suggesting improvements based on collected data and analyses.
- Planning and conducting internal audits of the information security system to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements and the company's internal guidelines. Documenting and following up on identified deviations and areas for improvement.
You will also conduct access controls and lead internal self-assessments and inventories to ensure that security measures are effective. The role includes supporting security reporting to owners, FMV-säk, partners, and security companies, and compiling and analyzing data to provide insights into the security situation within the company. You will actively participate in the work of continuous improvements of security processes and routines within the organization.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in security, security protection, and information management. We see that you have many years of experience working with security protection and good knowledge of the Security Protection Act as well as information security, preferably in accordance with ISO 27001. Good knowledge of laws and regulations related to security and information management.
You have good computer skills and have good knowledge of Swedish as well as our corporate language English, both spoken and written.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving problems. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach and are self-driven. To succeed in this work, you also need to have good collaboration and communication skills. We place great importance on personal qualities in this recruitment.
