The Job as Area Manager

Being an area manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a team of 25-30 employees who work on various customer assignments, and your primary goal is to ensure that your employees have the opportunity to discover and develop their skills so that they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer. You do this best by working closely with your employees and getting to know them.

In your daily work, you also have a lot of contact with your customers and ensure that everything works as it should. Through good relationships, you also develop the business and find opportunities for more job openings for Samhall's employees.

Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customers are satisfied is therefore the core of our mission as a company. Therefore, everyone's efforts are directed towards creating the platform for you as an area manager.

What do we offer you?

Here, you will develop as a leader regardless of previous experience and also build specific knowledge in several areas, including leading people with disabilities.

You will be part of a large company with 24,000 employees and surrounded by over 800 colleagues across the country who have the same role as you. Here, you have a national network while locally being part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the operations manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is in important and exciting development where you as an area manager play a vital role and where your perspectives are valued.

What do you bring to the role?

As an area manager, you are operational, present, and can make decisions with high integrity. It is a requirement that you have experience from and thrive in an environment characterized by a fast pace and with people at the center. We also know that you are comfortable in a leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks involved in a managerial position.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

  • Leadership experience with operational, personnel, and financial responsibility

  • Experience in customer relations with good results

  • Experience working with people with disabilities

  • Experience in cleaning services is a plus

  • Previous experience in administration, documentation, and good system skills

  • High school diploma

  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Driver's license B

Employment Type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period

Position Scope: 100%

Geographical Location: You will be based at our office in Östersund with working hours between 07:00-16:00. The majority of your working day will be spent out with your customers and employees.
