We are currently seeking an experienced and business-oriented Finance Manager for our client, an international company in strong development. The role involves overall responsibility for financial reporting, accounting, and financial governance in a complex and regulated environment.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic organization with a fast pace and clear deadlines.
About the assignment
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting in an international context. You will work closely with Treasury, Financial Services, and external auditors and be a key person in the company's reporting and control processes.
The role entails both operational and strategic responsibilities with a focus on quality, compliance, and process development.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for and coordinate monthly closings in SAP and reporting in the consolidation system AARO, including related SOX controls.
Review and analyze monthly reporting.
Proactively monitor liquidity levels.
Contribute to the preparation of the group’s annual report and quarterly reports submitted to the SEC in the USA.
Lead the work on local legal closings and annual reports, including coordination with external auditors.
Participate in monitoring covenant compliance in close collaboration with Treasury and Financial Services.
Drive and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality.
Lead the transfer of accounting tasks to the Shared Service Center.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and SOX.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A university degree in economics/finance.
At least 5–10 years of relevant experience from a similar role in accounting or financial control.
Very good knowledge of K3.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of Excel.
Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 and the consolidation tool AARO (desirable).
Experience working in an international environment with IFRS and SOX.
Experience in covenant monitoring and liquidity oversight.
Documented experience leading work against tight reporting deadlines, preferably within a publicly traded company.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
