At Lyko, we are often associated with e-commerce – and indeed, it is a big part of us. But did you know that we also have over 30 stores and a network of almost as many hairdressers? We also have our own product development where we own brands like Waterclouds, Grazette, and Happy Crazy Mine, as well as our own training programs covering everything from cutting techniques to color theory – not to mention all our product training. ✂️ You see – we are investing in our hairdressing business and are always on the lookout for new talents who want to help develop our future in beauty!

Of course, we want to offer our customers the very best, and that’s where you come in! For our salon in the Lyko store at Nova Lund, we are now looking for a trained hairdresser who is great at cutting, coloring, and styling hair but who also sees opportunities beyond that. Perhaps fixing hair for our events or helping to promote our products at launches?

The position is a one-year temporary contract until April 2027, with the possibility of extension, and includes 24 hours per week. Of course, we follow the hairdresser agreement, and in addition, extra sales commission and store bonuses are offered. What does a hairdresser do at Lyko?

We are located in the heart of Nova Lund, and as a hairdresser in a bustling mall, you can really take advantage of the large customer flow. We see your starting point in the salon, but there is also the opportunity to be out in the store where you can assist our customers - guiding, showcasing the latest tools, products, and trends when it comes to hair.

The spice is that in addition to the daily work in the salon, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our events that we conduct or sponsor ✨ PR events, product launches, influencer events, live podcasts, livestreams are some of the events we have already held in-store, and we also pop up at events outside the stores from time to time. Everything from being present in Almedalen to styling assignments or styling for photo shoots for the cross-country skiing national team. Did someone say styling for Idol finalists? Cool, right?!! Who are you?

We are looking for someone who wants to create an extraordinary experience for every customer. Someone who wants to hang out, socialize, and get to know our customers deeply, and who loves beauty, loves to share your ideas, and wants every customer to have a WOW experience.

For this role, we believe you have:

• A qualification and previous experience in hairdressing (a certificate is a merit).
• An established customer base that you will continue to develop with us.
• Trend awareness and are used to keeping up-to-date with the latest in the industry.
• Broad product knowledge, all to be able to recommend a unique combination of products tailored for each customer.
