Press Technician/Setter at Thule Group in Hillerstorp

Thule Group is growing and we are now looking for a press technician/setter for the press department in Hillerstorp.

The press hall currently consists of sixteen presses ranging from 80 to 400 tons. We produce approximately 27 million metal parts annually that supply the entire Thule Group.

Your main tasks will be to set tools and monitor the process according to our control and setup instructions. You are responsible for quality assurance of produced metal parts through measurement according to instructions. You are expected to actively participate in daily improvement work, focusing on reducing setup times and achieving more stable processes. In your role as a Press Technician/Setter, collaboration with the tool department is important, where you are expected to share your knowledge and information with your colleagues.

As a press technician, it is important that you are meticulous and systematic. We expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and to be a team player. We are looking for someone with several years of work experience with automatic presses. We expect you to have good knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques (profile projectors, calipers, angle gauges, etc.). It is a plus if you have previously worked in the systems Rektron and Maintmaster.
