Ålaryd Industries is growing, and we are now looking for a driven CNC operator for an exciting job with us. Ålaryd Industries is a former wood industry with a long tradition of processing sheet materials. We are stepping into the future with modern sheet processing in various materials in an increasingly high-value format. We have two business areas where you will work within the Machining area.

Do you currently have good knowledge as a CNC operator and are technically skilled in preparation from 3D and feel confident taking a step towards more responsibility? Do you want to be part of leading and developing a modern sheet processing department in the long run? Then this is the opportunity for you!

In this role, you will initially work operationally in production but also take on a more technical role where you prepare from 3D, Solid Works. You will receive support from our engineers during new developments and when needed in more complex preparations.

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC operator in our 5-axis CNC and our 3-axis CNC machines, you will have a central role in our Machining department with both technical and operational responsibility for your work. You will have:

- Overall responsibility for CNC production, including preparation. You will prepare from 3D, operate the CNC machines, and quality assure the process from start to finish against the drawing. We primarily work in small series at a high pace.

- Function as a technically/practically knowledgeable resource in the department with a focus on being solution-oriented. It is a merit if you also have experience with other commonly used machines in sheet processing such as panel saws and edge banding machines, even though this will not be your main tasks.

Over time, you will become an important right-hand person to our Site Manager, and there is an opportunity to become Team Leader for our Machining department within 1-2 years.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

- Good knowledge of CNC machining.

- Experience working with a 5-axis CNC machine, with the ability and WILL to solve technical challenges.

- Interest and understanding of taking technical responsibility and developing the department.

- Knowledge of 3D preparation and Solid Works. Perhaps you have completed an advanced training in 3D technology or similar.

- Experience in sheet processing within the industry.

- Experience with Monitor.

- Swedish as your native language.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours, weekdays, no shifts.
