Technical Sales Representative at Dematek AB

Dematek AB is the market's most complete supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented all over Sweden and are now looking for a technical sales representative for Örnsköldsvik / Västernorrland as our current salesperson is retiring. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

Your New Challenges

As a technical sales representative, you will be responsible for the entire sales process, from customer visits, quote writing, tender submissions, and consulting to negotiations and closing. You will independently plan your time, book visits, and work with both existing and new customers. You are responsible for achieving set sales targets within your region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Needs analysis
  • Quote preparation and follow-up
  • Presentation and consulting on technical features
  • Contract and price negotiations in accordance with the company's pricing strategy and profitability requirements
  • Preparation of order documentation

Your Experience and Qualities

To succeed in this role, you have previous experience in technical sales towards the industry. We expect you to have a solid technical education, preferably a high school or engineering degree, or alternatively, extensive practical/technical experience in sales. You have a strong interest in technical possibilities and complex solutions. Additionally, we see that you have experience in building new and good relationships, writing quotes and contracts. Your IT skills are good, and you have a solid understanding of various CRM and business systems.

As a person, you are primarily fearless with a strong drive and competitive instinct while having a great sense of business acumen. You are solution-focused and consultative in your customer meetings and sell with presence and focus. You have the strength to motivate yourself in your own sales work while being humble and attentive with high social competence.

You are a team player who is skilled at creating and maintaining relationships. You are confident, problem-solving oriented, and a good communicator.

Your Swedish and English need to be fluent in both spoken and written forms. A B driver's license is a requirement.

We prefer that you live in Örnsköldsvik and work from our office, but since the district is large, we are open to other locations. Business trips occur regularly as your region extends across Västernorrland/Jämtland/Gävleborg. The position includes a company car.
