Description

GSL has the overall responsibility to drive and coordinate the City of Gothenburg's circular strategy work.

We support the City’s departments and companies so that furniture, furnishings, and work clothes can be reused. Tage is part of the circular Gothenburg and is under Göteborgs Stads Leasing AB (GSL). Tage stands for taking and giving, and through Tage, the City’s operations have significantly reduced the need for new purchases of movable property since its inception in 2013. At the same time, climate impact has been significantly reduced.

Would you like to join the Tage team in working with reuse and making Gothenburg a more sustainable city? The Tage team currently consists of 6 people who work full-time with warehouse management, workshop, guidance, marketplace, logistics, customer contacts, and circular development. We now need to expand our workforce with a service/warehouse worker at the Tage depot to provide even better support to the City’s operations in the circular work.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a person to join the Tage team with a service role combined with warehouse work, and your tasks may include:

• Customer visits and assisting with assembly/disassembly, carrying help, etc.
• Cleaning indoors and outdoors at the Tage depot and Tage workshop
• Winter maintenance outside our units
• Warehouse management with incoming and outgoing deliveries of products
• Moving goods with a forklift
• Reconditioning furniture and work clothes
• Other tasks in our Tage depot and Tage workshop may also occur.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in property maintenance, service, and warehouse work
• At least a high school education and good experience working with various IT support
• Driver's license B or higher and forklift certification is an advantage
• We prefer that you have some form of electrical qualification
• Proficiency in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Communicative ability and the ability to build relationships
• Experience working in the public sector or the City of Gothenburg, as well as experience working with sustainability or circular issues in various contexts is also advantageous.

As a person, you need to be pedagogical, attentive, and communicative. You also need to have patience and be structured with a sense of order. The position requires you to be self-driven and enjoy working in a flexible work environment. You should have good physical fitness to handle tasks that sometimes involve heavy lifting. It is also an advantage to be handy and enjoy problem-solving.

You also collaborate well with your colleagues and have no problem helping where needed. You are engaged in your work, reliable, and have a very good sense of service and quality. You always meet both customers and colleagues with a friendly demeanor.

Conditions

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 07:00 to 15:30, excluding weekends. The employment is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.

Within Göteborgs Stads Leasing, we conduct socially important activities. As a permanent employee, you will therefore be placed within the framework of Göteborgs Stads Leasing's role in civil defense.
