We are redesigning the Stockholm subway map!
Do you want to be part of the unique and exciting work as the subway expands? We are now looking for a property officer for the West Department.
If you are interested in community building and want to work in an environment with a lot of drive and high competence, then the Stockholm Region's administration for the expanded subway is the right workplace for you.
About the position
As a property officer, you will be an important part of our construction projects and contribute to the development of the subway. You will work with many different parts of our project activities and the tasks are varied.
As a property officer, you will assist the department in the work with land access and to prepare, negotiate, and sign agreements with external parties. You will be our expert contact in property matters during dialogue with municipalities, developers, property owners, and utility owners affected by the expansion.
You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues on issues related to planning and building permits, property formation, easements, rights of use, and implementation. The role involves close cooperation with our construction projects and a varied workday where no day is the same as the other.
As part of the Property group within the unit for Coordination and Support, you will be an important support function for our projects. The group's mission is to ensure that the projects gain access to the land and spaces required to build and maintain the subway.
Who are you?
You are a self-driven person who thrives in a changing and flexible environment. Collaboration with others comes naturally to you, and you have a good strategic outlook combined with clear and professional communication skills – both verbally and in writing. You find it easy to create structure and plan your work effectively while being able to adapt when circumstances change.
To be suitable for the role, you have:
- A civil engineering degree with a focus on surveying or community building, or education in another area that the employer deems relevant for the position
- Several years of work experience, of which at least 6 years in infrastructure projects
- Knowledge and experience in the infrastructure and community building process
- Experience in negotiation and preparation of land access and implementation agreements in urban development or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge and experience in property formation
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
We see it as an advantage if you also have:
- Experience from large projects
Of course, you have an interest in our operations, working on large projects, and the content of the position.
Our offer
With us, you will have a developing role in a socially important organization where your work makes a difference every day. You will be part of a competent and engaged team with a high ceiling and good atmosphere. We invest in professional development and give you the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.
We have a collective agreement, which includes collective insurance, occupational pension, and the possibility of salary exchange. To enable you to take responsibility for your health, we offer wellness hours and wellness grants, as well as subsidized healthcare in the form of free outpatient care. Here you can read more about the benefits in our collective agreement.
We are currently located at Solnavägen 1E in Stockholm but will eventually move to a project office along the new line's route.
