About You/Qualifications: We are looking for someone who preferably has retail and cashier experience, is service-oriented, stress-resistant, and skilled in customer interaction.

You should be flexible, energetic, and enjoy varied work. Heavy lifting is involved.

You must be over 18 years old.

Job Responsibilities:

Cashier Staff

We are looking for cashier staff whose main task is to staff the cash register during our opening hours. In addition to cashier work, tasks include handling, sorting, cleaning, and moving incoming goods while the store is closed or as needed.

Staff for Intake, Truck, and Furniture

The responsibilities include receiving and handling donated goods during our opening hours and assisting in the furniture department as needed. The position also includes staffing our truck when the store is closed for picking up and delivering goods, which requires a B driver's license.

About Us: The Churches' secondhand store is run by the Ecumenical Council of Mariestad (i.e., Equmeniakyrkan, Korskyrkan, Pingstkyrkan, and the Church of Sweden in Mariestad). The purpose of the store is to sell donated goods and use the store's surplus for humanitarian aid efforts.
