Assembly Leader at Caretec in Forserum

Job Responsibilities

As an Assembly Leader at Caretec, you will play a central role in production and become an important link between planning, assembly, and quality assurance. The position is partly operational – about half of the time you will lead and plan the daily work, and the remaining time you will participate in the assembly yourself.

You will organize and distribute work for 6–7 assemblers at various assembly stations, based on manufacturing orders and schedules from production planning meetings. Your planning ensures that the right products are assembled in the correct order and delivered to the customer on time.

Examples of job responsibilities:

Planning and Leadership (approx. 50%)

• Participate in production planning meetings and translate schedules into concrete tasks.
• Detail plan and delegate work to assemblers at different stations.
• Monitor progress and report in the business system Pyramid.
• Ensure that materials are available and manage deviations in case of material shortages.

Assembly and Quality (approx. 50%)

• Personally perform assembly of items such as hospital beds, bedside tables, and emergency carts.
• Conduct post-checks and quality assurance of finished products.
• Assemble prototypes and participate in testing of new products.
• Work on continuous improvements in work methods, flows, and quality.

The position is located in Caretec's modern and bright premises in Forserum.

You need to have a good technical understanding, be accustomed to reading instructions and drawings, and work systematically. Experience with business systems – preferably Pyramid – is an advantage. A B driver's license is required. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
