We are now looking for a Project Manager SBFUT Vehicle X25 for an authority within traffic.

This is a consulting assignment that runs until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. The place of work is Stockholm.

The assignment is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

In the role of project manager, you are responsible for the implementation of the vehicle project within the SBFUT sub-portfolio related to the Saltsjöbanan. The project has signed a contract with a vehicle supplier and is in the implementation phase. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that the project is delivered according to established goals, budget, timeline, and quality requirements.

The role involves overall responsibility for governance, follow-up, risk management, supplier management, and staffing, as well as ensuring that the project's results can be handed over to management. Stakeholder management is complex and takes place both nationally and internationally, which requires fluent English in both spoken and written form.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and follow up the project within the agreed scope.

Ensure that the project's frameworks regarding time, cost, and content (TKI) are maintained.

Be responsible for staffing and resource planning in the project.

Lead risk management by identifying, analyzing, and managing risks.

Report status according to applicable routines and prepare decision-making materials for portfolio managers, project managers, and sponsors.

Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders both within and outside the organization, including international suppliers.

Collaborate with adjacent projects such as tracks, depots, and power supply to contribute to a functioning system solution.

Drive improvements of internal routines and revise governing documents, such as project plans, as needed.

Ensure that the project follows applicable working methods, routines, and processes.

Be responsible for ensuring that the supplier meets contractual requirements.

Ensure that the project's results are handed over to management in collaboration with the handover manager.

Requirements (Mandatory)

University degree or equivalent relevant technical education (not YH).

At least 10 years of documented experience working on projects within rail vehicles or technically complex projects with international suppliers and/or clients.

At least 5 years of documented experience working as the responsible project manager for international projects in the delivery phase (from construction to commissioning).

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable

At least 5 years of documented experience as the responsible project manager on the client side or supplier side for delivery projects within rail vehicles primarily in the delivery phase (from construction to commissioning).

At least 10 years of documented experience as the responsible project manager for technically complex projects over 750 million SEK.

At least 5 years of documented experience as a project manager within railway infrastructure (tracks, signaling systems, depots, or power supply).
