About the role

We are starting up a completely new department and are looking for someone who wants to be involved from day one. This is not just a job as a senior CNC operator – it is a key role where you shape the future production with us. You will be involved in making crucial decisions regarding machine selection, layout, CAM software, and working methods.

Your main responsibilities

Strategic setup: Participate in the selection of machines, tools, and software for the new department.

Production & Optimization: Time operations for quotation preparation, set up and run machines, and verify programs.

Programming: Independently perform CAM programming from CAD models.

Quality assurance: Optimize cycle times and ensure that processes meet high standards of quality and repeatability.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience: Several years of background as a CNC operator.

Advanced knowledge in CAM: Very good experience with systems like Mastercam, Edgecam, or similar.

Blueprint & Measurement Techniques: Deep understanding of blueprint reading, geometric tolerances (Form & Position), and measurement techniques.

Technical knowledge: Experience with control systems like Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens, as well as good knowledge of tool selection and fixturing.

Language: Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable:

Experience with multi-axis machining (4–5 axes) and simultaneous machining.

Experience in prototype development or complex small series production.

Knowledge in fixture design and LEAN.
