Ambulance Area South, Ambulance Care
Are you a licensed nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, varied, and team-oriented environment? Welcome to Ambulance Area South – where you work closely with patients and contribute to safe and secure care every day!
The Role of a Nurse in Ambulance Care
As a nurse, you work alongside an ambulance care assistant or another nurse who has basic or specialist training. Together, you assess and treat patients at home, at the scene of an accident, and during transport to healthcare facilities. You also perform transfers of patients between different healthcare facilities, both within and outside the county.
As an employee in ambulance care, you have access to advanced equipment such as defibrillators, mechanical chest compression devices, and a variety of medications. In your daily work, you encounter all types of patients, and your role involves providing good and safe care based on the patient's needs. Your work is therefore varied, and no two days are alike.
We offer a permanent position, with a start date to be agreed upon.
Your Future Workplace
Ambulance care has developed in recent years and offers increasingly advanced care even before the ambulance arrives at the hospital. The vision of ambulance care is to provide the best possible ambulance care and to be an attractive workplace with the patient at the center.
In Region Jönköping County, there are 25 ambulances, including a light care ambulance and a transport ambulance, distributed across twelve stations.
