Maintenance Technician - Two Shifts
Location: Uppsala, Sweden (on-site)
Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance technician to support and improve our operations within Engineering. You will be involved in implementing plans, improving processes, and collaborating on innovative projects that drive our business forward.
Responsibilities
- Implement technical plans and programs to support operational activities across various technical functions.
- Track and adjust activities to improve processes, modify existing systems, and develop effective testing procedures.
- Execute technical processes and policies, focusing on the development of new products and the improvement of existing ones.
- Analyze technology trends and ensure successful implementation of technical plans while adhering to quality, cost, and safety standards.
- Collaborate to assess technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer demand for products and processes.
- Participate in field tests of products, processes, and systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Maintain and improve equipment by troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Some experience in practical engineering tasks. Experience in control systems and/or electrical work is a plus.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Driver's license (B).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with technical standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
- Curious to learn and adapt to new technologies and technical trends.
Additional Information
Shift work is required for this position. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts. Daytime work is Monday to Thursday from 06:30 to 15:00 and Friday from 06:30 to 17:10. Evening shifts are Monday to Thursday from 14:30 to 23:10, with Fridays off.
