About the Position

As a summer employee, you will cover for our regular process investigator during the summer vacation from week 18 to week 36. The time intervals are flexible.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and participating in pilot-scale experiments for groundwater purification.
• Analysis of results using Excel and other computer programs.
• Handling technical documentation.
• Opportunity for continued investigation work through a thesis after the summer job.

You will work in the Drinking Water Department/Gränby Water Treatment Plant. Your working hours are from 07:00 to 16:00.

Qualifications

• Education or ongoing education as a civil engineer in water services, such as environmental and water technology, road and water, environmental systems, or chemical processes. Additional courses in water purification are advantageous.
• Interest in natural sciences, water, and the environment.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• Good knowledge of Excel.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a structured manner as solitary work in the field or at our facilities occurs. You should be meticulous and have a sense of order as data is sorted, handled, and quality assured. We appreciate candidates who have knowledge of chemistry or water purification processes through education or other means.
