JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute in cleaning services in preschools, you will work to keep the premises clean according to established routines and cleaning schedules. You will be booked based on the needs of the operations, and the working hours are varied. Your work may involve several different preschools where you contribute to creating a clean and healthy environment for children and staff. Geographically, you will be assigned work within all preschool areas in Gävle municipality.

Your tasks include:

• Sweeping and wet mopping of floors.
• Emptying trash cans and sorting waste.
• Wiping tables, handles, changing tables, and other contact surfaces.
• Disinfection of surfaces where children eat, play, and change diapers.
• Cleaning toilets and sinks.
• Deep cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Cleaning service certificate or vocational training in cleaning services.
• Good ability to read, understand, and communicate in Swedish to be able to comprehend safety information, cleaning routines, instructions, safety regulations, product descriptions, etc.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• The ability to adapt to different workplaces and various tasks.
• The ability to follow instructions, routines, and safety regulations.
• A humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues and others in your work environment.
