Within Maintenance Format, about 30 people work divided into two sections dealing with mechanical and electrical maintenance. Support is also provided by planners, preparers, and technicians.

We work in a planned manner and our main task is to manage preventive maintenance on the cutting lines at Format. Improvement work is part of everyday life.

As a mechanic, you will primarily perform preventive maintenance and condition checks on all mechanical equipment in the field and are therefore an important cog in the preventive maintenance work. You also have a strong understanding of hygiene factors, tribology, measurement technology, and maintenance systems.

The working hours are daytime with the possibility of flexibility.

Your main responsibilities

  • Prepare and qualitatively perform maintenance actions.
  • Plan and prepare your own work in the maintenance system.
  • Participate in improvement work and projects.

About you

  • You have a high school education in mechanics related to industry and experience in preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance within the industry.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language and a B driver's license are also requirements for the position.

Meritorious

  • Previous experience in maintenance work on larger machines.
  • Knowledge in areas such as bolt tensioning/bolt connections, bearing assembly, reading blueprints, hydraulics, pneumatics, laser shaft alignment, tribology, lubrication systems.

  • You are collaborative, self-driven, and have an easy time pushing your work forward.
  • You take initiative, solve problems in a structured way, and maintain focus even under stress and pressure.
  • You handle setbacks constructively and communicate clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing.
