About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to work in Night Home Care in the City Area Center.

Every night, six employees work in pairs in a patrol that drives around the entire City Area Center. The working hours are currently from 21:00 to 07:00, on weekdays and weekends, according to a schedule. We are now looking for employees for two temporary positions: one starting immediately until September and one starting on May 1 until September. Both positions have the potential for extension.

Your main tasks are to plan and perform qualified care and service work within home care, as well as respond to urgent safety alarms. We work to provide individual care and service to the elderly and disabled to enable them to remain in their own homes. The work is based on assistance decisions made for each individual. The job includes close cooperation with home healthcare. Working in Night Home Care involves collaboration with all activities within ordinary housing as well as cooperation with authorities for both individuals under and over 65 years old.

The job includes documentation according to applicable legislation. There may also be some health and medical care tasks after delegation from a nurse.

The City Area Center is one of Gothenburg's central urban areas and includes Krokslätt, Guldheden, Landala, Vasastaden, Johanneberg, Lorensberg, within Vallgraven, Stampen, and Heden. About You

You are a trained nursing assistant and can present the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for protected professional title, or alternatively show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. Experience in night and care work is a requirement. Since documentation and communication are important parts of the job, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have a B driver's license and good driving experience in city traffic.
