The Community Building Administration is responsible for catering and cleaning, land development, urban planning and building permits, parks and green spaces, streets, water, and waste. Here, over 300 employees work together to make Ystad a great municipality to live, work, and thrive in.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a street cleaner, you will work with daily maintenance of bare ground within the assigned district according to a self-monitoring list as well as the maintenance of public areas. The position also includes winter maintenance according to established maps and lists. You will remove graffiti from signs, bins, and benches and report vandalism of the municipality's facilities. The role also includes assisting where needed within the organization.

The work is physically demanding and takes place largely outdoors year-round. The position involves working every third weekend.

You will be involved in achieving the organization's goals and actively contribute to systematic occupational health and safety work. As an employee of the municipality, you are expected to contribute to a good working environment, collaborate internally and externally, follow established administrative routines, and always keep the customer and citizen at the center. You represent the municipality in your daily work and follow applicable guidelines, instructions, laws, and our shared values.

We are looking for someone who is organized, responsible, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Personal suitability is highly valued.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Training in Work on Roads
• Experience in handling and driving small tractors
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Ability to collaborate and contribute to a good working environment
