We are now looking for someone who wants to work in a development-oriented organization with high cleaning quality and service in cleaning unit 2.

Your role with us

As a cleaner, you will independently be responsible for daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and special cleaning according to cleaning instructions. You will carry out your work during the day starting at 06:00, and it involves varied cleaning in schools, after-school centers, and preschools in classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, gymnasiums, etc. Cleaning in other types of premises in Kristianstad municipality is also included in some positions. The work can be physically demanding, and we use cleaning machines in environments where allowed. To register completed cleaning, an iPad with the digital management system Clean Pilot is used.

As a cleaner, you will work in a team where you collaborate and meet regularly. You will also have close contact with the unit's cleaning coordinator regarding cleaning, purchases, etc., as well as daily contact with customers and staff in the premises you clean.

When needed, work on other cleaning objects than the regular placement may occur.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in service and preferably with experience from previous work as a cleaner. You have a completed high school diploma, and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of cleaning equipment and the cleaning agents used in cleaning. If you have any type of cleaning education, such as SRY, PRYL, or equivalent, it is meritorious, as is experience with cleaning machines and/or cleaning robots.

Since communication is an important part of the job, as you will come into contact with many people during the workday, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have basic computer skills so that you can use apps and functions on mobile phones and iPads. We use a digital operational support, Clean Pilot, for daily registration of cleaning tasks and for our long-term improvement work. In our digitalization journey, the goal is also to work with more cleaning robots to improve both the work environment and quality. Courage and interest in trying new technical aids are therefore desirable.

For the position, it is required that you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Your qualities are important to us

Since the work is largely independent, it requires that you can take responsibility for the cleaning objects assigned to you, but also that you can plan and prioritize your tasks. You also need to be flexible as we help each other to solve tasks when needed.

We want you to have orientation skills and be able to read and understand cleaning instructions and drawings to find and organize work within premises and between different cleaning objects.

As the work is sometimes physically demanding, it is important that you have good physical condition and are mobile.

When applicants are offered employment, a criminal record extract from the police is required according to the provisions of Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.

The cleaning department's customers are found in all municipal operations, primarily schools and preschools, but also libraries, recreational facilities, care premises, office spaces, various staff areas, public toilets, etc. The cleaning department consists of 5 units with a total of about 140 employees, and we actively work to create a good work environment for our employees and to deliver modern and effective cleaning of high quality.
