Job Responsibilities

As meal staff, your main tasks include:

• Setting up dishes, appetizers, and salads for patients
• Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
• Packing and counting food in transport carts for departments and other customers
• Cleaning and other tasks that occur within the kitchen

About the Workplace

Food is a collaboration around meals between Region Västmanland and Region Uppsala. Every week we prepare 16,000 portions of food, with the main task of delivering patient meals to hospitals in Västmanland and to the Academic Hospital in Uppsala. All the time with our vision “Flexible meals for the patient's best”.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience from similar work that the employer considers equivalent. You should be used to juggling many tasks and able to handle it without getting stressed. To succeed in this job, you must have a service-oriented mindset and very good skills in reading, writing, and speaking Swedish. Heavy lifting occurs and work in cold environments.

We are looking for someone who is quality-conscious, strives to satisfy all customers, and enjoys being in an organization that actively works with changes and development. It is important that you are organized and meticulous in your work style but also adaptable to changing directives.
