JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ambulance nurse, you play a central role in ensuring that our patients receive the right care, at the right level and at the right time. Your skills and ability to quickly assess and act are crucial for the patient's well-being. We offer a comprehensive introduction that spans a couple of years, where you gradually build on your knowledge and skills to feel secure in your role.

Main Responsibilities

• assess, provide care, and treat patients based on treatment guidelines, general directives, and medical orders
• collaborate with other healthcare institutions, emergency services, police, and SOS Alarm among others.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has the ability to keep a cool head even in the most pressured situations. You should be able to make quick and well-founded decisions while working effectively with colleagues in the team. Your ability to act independently and take initiative when the situation requires it is crucial for providing the best possible care. To thrive in the role, you also need to be flexible, able to quickly adapt to new circumstances, and maintain a positive attitude even in challenging situations.

To succeed in the role, the following is required:

• education as an ambulance nurse
• good physical condition and swimming ability
• C1 driver's license.

Experience working as a nursing assistant in a relevant area within inpatient care is an advantage.

If you proceed after the interview stage, you will also participate in a test day that includes a driving and fitness test.

Test day (driving and fitness test): Wednesday, April 29 in Söderhamn.
