The Department of Education and Child Services in Bollnäs Municipality is now seeking an engaged school nurse for the integrated student health.

As a school nurse, you will play a central role in promoting the health and development of children and young people. You will be an important part of the student health team and contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment for the students. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start in HT26 or by agreement.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct health visits, health conversations, and vaccinations according to national programs
• Provide basic healthcare services, consultation, and advice on medical issues
• Collaborate with other student health personnel and school staff to support students' health and development
• Contribute to establishing healthy lifestyles among children and youth

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in pediatric, district, or school nursing. Experience as a school nurse or in health promotion work with children and youth is an advantage. You have a good demeanor, collaborate well, and can build trust with students, guardians, and school staff. Furthermore, you are structured, responsible, and confident in your role. Travel may be required, so you need a valid driver's license (B).
