As a facility technician with us, you will be a key person in creating safe, well-functioning, and energy-efficient properties.
This is how you contribute in the role of Facility Technician
You will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of properties within an operational area together with colleagues and the area manager. The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as close contact with tenants and contractors.
Your tasks will include:
- Operation, supervision, and maintenance of buildings, land, and green areas, both inside and outside.
- Maintenance of the property's technical systems: heating, ventilation, cooling, electricity, and water.
- Patrolling, control and regulation technology, troubleshooting, as well as energy optimization and reporting.
- Receiving, executing, distributing, and providing feedback on fault reports.
- Participating in inspections and ensuring that actions are implemented.
- Monitoring and addressing regulatory remarks (e.g., elevators, OVK, pressurized equipment, and fire).
- Following up on external contractors' work according to agreements.
- Planning and reprioritizing work based on given plans.
On-call duty may be included in the position.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with a high school education and previous experience in property maintenance, the contracting industry, or equivalent. It is desirable that you have a high school education in construction, electrical, or operations, or a vocational education in property maintenance.
We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience with case management systems, control and regulation technology, and service professions.
You are calm, attentive, and accommodating, you work well with others and take responsibility for your tasks. You drive your processes forward independently, take initiative, and achieve results.
You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, basic IT skills, and possess a B driver's license.
