Study to Become a Specialist Nurse and Earn a Salary!

Region Halland is looking for you who currently work as a nurse and want to develop by furthering your education to become a specialist nurse in anesthesia.

As an anesthesia nurse, you are responsible for the patient's care and anesthesia during surgery. You create trust, confidence, and security for the patient in a high-tech environment and, above all, you are responsible for the patient's vital functions during anesthesia.

It is a stimulating and varied job that combines theoretical and practical knowledge, emergency and planned activities, and you meet patients of all ages.

You will work in a team consisting of various professional categories, including anesthesiologists, operating room nurses, and nursing assistants. While you work in a team, you also need to be able to work independently and make quick decisions.

Training Employment

We offer you a training employment, which means that you study to become an anesthesia nurse with a salary and receive a position at a designated workplace at Hallands Hospital Varberg, where you will then work as a fully qualified anesthesia nurse after completing your education.

A training employment can be granted for full-time or part-time study. Distance education is also included as a study form.

Qualifications

To apply for a training employment, you must be a licensed nurse with at least two years of work experience as a nurse within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you must be accepted into the education at a higher education institution.

You should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives, have an easy time collaborating, and possess good ability to work in a team. Moreover, your interaction with patients and colleagues should be professional.
