Land and Development Engineer at Nordanstig Municipality

About the Role

As a land and development engineer, you will work with the municipality's land and development issues from early planning stages to implementation. You will have a central role in the community building process and collaborate closely with colleagues, politicians, developers, and other external stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and handle land and development matters
• Negotiate and establish development, land allocation, and purchase agreements
• Work with the municipality's land holdings, land acquisitions, and land sales
• Participate in detailed planning processes and implementation issues
• Prepare financial calculations and decision-making materials
• Ensure that development aligns with the municipality's sustainability goals
• Conduct, review, and respond to investigations related to infrastructure issues.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Has a university degree in community building, real estate economics, surveying, or equivalent
• Has experience in land and development work, preferably in the public sector
• Has good knowledge of property law and planning and building legislation
• Is confident in contracts, negotiations, and financial assessments
• Communicates well in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

• You are structured, solution-oriented, and have good collaboration skills
• You thrive on responsibility, work independently, and maintain a professional approach in contact with various stakeholders.
