About the assignment

The assignment concerns resource reinforcement within the Swedish Transport Administration's investment operations with a focus on national noise protection measures. The assignment is carried out within the framework of ongoing and upcoming investment projects in road and infrastructure operations.

About the role

In the role of project engineer, you will participate as a resource consultant in the Swedish Transport Administration's project organization and contribute to the implementation of investment projects in the noise area in close collaboration with project managers and other relevant functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project managers in the ongoing administration and internal work of the projects.
  • Participating in the management of project routines, documentation, record-keeping, and permissions.
  • Contributing to maintaining good order in ProjectPlace (PP) and/or equivalent systems for project documentation.
  • Assisting in the planning and administration of meetings and, if necessary, taking notes and minutes.
  • Participating in the work with the project's base plans, including timelines and risk management, and contributing to ongoing follow-up.
  • Participating in project administration in C7, Agresso, and related systems in collaboration with project managers and unit controllers.
  • Contributing to the establishment of delivery plans and ensuring that handover processes are followed.
  • Participating in the review and follow-up of consultants' delivered documents.
  • Supporting the management of communication and follow-up in property owner matters.
  • Participating in forecasting work, cost follow-up, and invoice management in consultation with project managers.
  • Contributing to the preparation of reports, timelines, and other project materials.
  • If applicable, supporting sub-project managers in project implementation.

Mandatory requirements

All requirements must be clearly stated in the CV, including periods, assignments, scope, and responsibilities.

  1. Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  2. Driving license B.
  3. At least 120 credits from a college or university.
  4. At least 12 months of practical experience with forecasting systems, such as C7.
  5. At least 2 years of documented experience working in a project organization, where you have worked independently and structured. The experience must have been acquired in the last 5 years, counted from the last day for the bid.

Assignment information

The assignment is to commence on 2026-03-01 and will last for 24 months from the date the contract comes into effect.

Option: The client has the unilateral option to extend the contract under existing contractual terms for up to an additional 12 months.

Scope: The estimated workload for the assignment is 100 percent of the annual working time, amounting to 1,700 hours.

The stationing location for the resource consultant is Gävle. This assignment requires physical presence at the Swedish Transport Administration's office 5 days a week. Remote work may be possible by agreement with the client.
