Are you a licensed nurse with an interest in elderly care and a wholehearted desire to provide safety and care to those who need support in their daily lives? Then you have come to the right place!

We at Attendo are now looking for a licensed nurse for our facility Attendo Ljung in Värmdö municipality. The residence has 56 apartments with a focus on SoL, Soma, and respite care. The facility also includes a day care for dementia patients.

About the role As a nurse with us at our residences, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to improve the quality of life for the residents, but you will also be the one making assessments and decisions regarding actions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more specialized healthcare interventions are taking place at the residence. This provides you with a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. You will have a leading role with great opportunities to influence the operations.

As a nurse within Attendo, you are significant, and your competence is highly valued. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks. You are part of the team working to empower individuals.

Main responsibilities

  • Medication management

  • Work in national quality registers

  • Supervision of care staff

  • Care responsibility for patients

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy mentoring and delegating care tasks to healthcare staff and are motivated by creating high-quality care for those who live with us, together with your colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse

  • At least three years of professional experience, preferably in elderly care

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have

  • Experience from working in private care services

  • Experience in supervision

  • Education in geriatrics or district nursing.
