About the job

As a Database Administrator, you will support our agile development teams that are working on developing the Swedish Tax Agency's IT systems. Your tasks include supporting the teams with database issues, optimizing performance, and monitoring the databases. We have a long-term mission where we focus on sustainable and future-proof solutions with minimized technical debt. The public good is always in focus.

We are in an ongoing system renewal where we are introducing modern technology and developing our architecture. You will work with technologies such as PL/SQL, SQL Developer/Toad, Linux, and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager). Our databases are primarily Oracle relational databases.

About you

You should also have:

• relevant post-secondary education in IT, or several years of relevant work experience in the IT field
• several years of current and relevant work experience with relational databases
• several years of current and relevant work experience handling complex SQL queries.

It is desirable that you have experience and knowledge of Oracle databases as well as experience with agile working methods. It is also desirable to have experience in complex system environments in large organizations.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
