Who are we looking for?

We are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create flavorful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability.

The role includes daily tasks such as self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist in menu planning and inventory.

About Restaurant 1740

You can find us at Ardagh in Limmared. Our restaurant serves breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday, and only breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays.

We also offer catering, conference snacks, and handle vending services.

Opening hours:

• Mon-Fri: 07.00-14.00
• Weekend: 07.00-09.30

The team consists of five employees with a rotating schedule. On weekdays, four people work, while weekend work is done independently.

Who are you?

• You are over 18 years old
• You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent
• You have previous experience in restaurant work
• You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively
• You take responsibility through your passion to maintain a high level of service and quality in what you deliver
• You see your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have a knack for collaboration and communication
• You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role
• You speak and write Swedish
• Experience with menu planning systems is a plus
