Geriatric Center

The Geriatric Center is a specialist clinic for patients in need of both acute and planned geriatric care and rehabilitation. A comprehensive assessment of the elderly patient's medical, physical, psychological, and social functional abilities in the context of illness is performed by interprofessional teams. Diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation are conducted in inpatient and outpatient care with the patient's individual needs in focus.

Orthopedic Geriatrics, Department 4 provides orthopedic geriatric acute and subacute care and rehabilitation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in Geriatrics 4, you will have a developing, educational, and varied job in a team with joy at work. Here, nursing assistants have an important and obvious role in the care team, and your work contributes to safe patient care of good quality. To grow in your professional role and provide the best care, we believe it is important to have a pleasant work environment and the opportunity for continuous development. In the role of nursing assistant, you will perform care work together with a nurse. Together, you will conduct supervision rounds during the night. The nurse has the medical responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a nursing assistant education and a certified course in acute care. You enjoy working with the elderly and prioritize the patient, have a good attitude, and adapt your care to the patient's various needs throughout the care process.

You are proactive, easy to collaborate with, and curious about new challenges. You feel responsible and thrive in an environment with varied tasks and changing intensity. You work both in a team and independently, where collaboration and initiative, as well as flexibility and attention to detail, are qualities we value. We place great importance on personal suitability.

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in care and social services. You apply for a certificate of protected professional title for nursing assistants from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have already received this certificate, we ask that you attach it to your application.
