About Us
The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for logistics support to units, schools, and centers within the Armed Forces (FM) - nationally and internationally. FMLOG includes the Armed Forces Transport Unit, which has functional management responsibility for transport services within the Armed Forces and is tasked with coordinating the implementation of the Armed Forces' strategic and operational transport of personnel, equipment, and entire units. Transport occurs through air transport, sea transport, road, and rail transport, both within and outside the country.
The Armed Forces is in an expansion phase, especially regarding our travel operations. Therefore, we are looking for experienced travel coordinators for the Armed Forces' Mission Travel.

The Transport Unit
The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for logistics support to the Armed Forces (FM), nationally and internationally. FMLOG includes, among other things, the Armed Forces Transport Unit, which is tasked with coordinating the implementation of the Armed Forces' transport of personnel, equipment, and entire units.
Main Responsibilities
As a travel coordinator, you will play a central role in planning and administering travel within the Armed Forces. Your work includes everything from travel planning to booking and ticketing of both domestic and international trips, primarily through the booking system Amadeus. You will handle all types of transportation and also be responsible for group travel and conference bookings. Attention to detail and good service are crucial. It is a varied and sometimes fast-paced environment, where each trip can be critical for our operations to function effectively.
Qualifications
- Documented high school diploma
- Good knowledge of Amadeus
- Driver's license at least class B
- At least two years of experience working at a business travel agency
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
Personal Qualities
To thrive in this role, we believe you are a person who appreciates both independent responsibility and working in a team. You have previous experience from a business travel agency, good knowledge of the booking system Amadeus, and feel comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English. You have a knack for creating structure, are detail-oriented, and enjoy finding solutions when circumstances can change rapidly and new challenges arise. At the same time, you are service-oriented and keen to provide a professional response – whether it concerns colleagues within the Armed Forces or external contacts.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Linkonline
- Knowledge/experience in booking conferences
- Knowledge of AGM
- IATA certification
- Good insight into the Armed Forces' organization and its tasks
- Completed GSU INT, GMU/GSU or military service
- Previous service in the Armed Forces' foreign missions as a travel officer in mission areas

Other Information
Employment form is permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority. Full-time employment.
Swedish citizenship is a requirement. Vacation of 28-35 days per year depending on your age. Work location Stockholm. Position: Civil. Start date by agreement.
