We are looking for someone who wants to lead, develop, and improve – a confident and engaged manager who is passionate about both people and developing work methods and operations.
With us, you will have a central role in developing and coordinating HR support in Region Blekinge, as the manager for operational HR support.
The Job
The HR area was formed during the reorganization of Region Blekinge, and we are currently in an exciting development phase where we have recently decided on an internal structure. In the future, we will develop our work methods and clarify roles and responsibilities to work more effectively and equitably towards the operations that HR supports. You will play a key role in leading and engaging managers and employees to develop and strengthen HR support in Region Blekinge.
Operational HR consists of two HR departments and the payroll department, which together have about 45 employees. The departments have a broad mandate to provide operational HR support to the operations of Region Blekinge while also contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR work.
Your main task will be to ensure that HR support is qualitative and equitable towards the operations of Region Blekinge. You will also conduct development work at both group and individual levels and strive for a good work environment where employees thrive and grow. In your work, you are expected to maintain a good overview to make well-founded decisions that benefit the entire operation.
You will be part of the management team for the HR area and report to the HR director. You will have personnel, financial, and operational responsibility and be the immediate supervisor for three department heads.
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree, for example in human resources and labor relations, HR, leadership and organization, or equivalent education and experience deemed relevant for the position. You have worked as a manager in a larger organization, have experience in change management, and possess good knowledge of individual, group, and organizational development. You should also have experience in HR work, e.g., in wage formation, personnel policy, competence development, and workplace environment issues. Leadership training is an advantage, as is experience in a politically governed organization.
As a leader, you are confident and stable, with a good ability to collaborate. You communicate clearly and create clarity around goals, expectations, and direction based on decided priorities or positions. You can structure your work and contribute to achieving set goals.
You have a good ability to build and manage relationships with others. Your leadership contributes to a culture characterized by collaboration, participation, and trust, where managers and employees feel included and motivated to develop the operations together.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
