The work at the sterile center is a varied job with close collaboration with the rest of the surgical department. Instrument management is the main area of responsibility.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained sterile technician with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and understood. Knowledge of T-doc is an advantage for the position, as is experience working in a sterile center.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are structured, flexible, service-oriented, and independent. You share your knowledge and value collaboration with others.

This is what you will work with

You are an important part of the team around the patient. The work includes the entire chain of instrument management. Cleaning, inspection, packing, and sterilization. Together, we take responsibility for providing the best care for the patient. In order for the patient to receive the best care, inventory work, equipment management, and handling of the machinery at the sterile center are also included.

Surgery in Gällivare is part of the regional clinic An/Op/Iva. We conduct surgical operations at the hospitals in Kalix, Gällivare, and Sunderbyn with pre-, peri-, and post-operative care.

The three areas prioritized within An/Op/Iva are stable staffing with high competence, high availability with efficient flows, and a strong safety culture.

Information about the position

We offer permanent employment on a full-time basis. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
